Week 1 

Creative Piece: Cupcake Clay Model

This was a clay model that was made during my high school art class which was for an assignment. The design of the cupcake was soccer related as it was my favourite sport. A lot of time was spent making this artwork, due to the various steps that had to be done.

Piece of Architecture: Chateau de Chambord

The colossal size of Chambord displays a unique silhouette, with its 156 metre facade, 426 rooms, 77 staircases, 282 fire places and 800 sculpted capitals. This large chateau required 2000 workmen on site in a span of 28 years.

This was the first railway station in an Australian city which also holds the record of busiest passenger station in the late 1920s. At night the streets are dark however, the light around the building gives it a bright lighting to the streets which creates a sense of life at night.
